Naqaab

Naqaab was 2007 Bollywood movie, directed by Abbas-Mustan duo. Abbas Mustan was inspired by a British movie Dot The I while writing this movie script. Akshay Khanna played the negative role for this movie. Urvashi Sharma and Boby Deol are the lead cast for the movie.

Sophie (Urvashi Sharma) engages with Karan Oberoi (Bobby Deol) who is a millionaire and beautiful guy. But after some days she falls in love with a Vicky. She always tries to control her feelings towards Vicky. On the day of her marriage with Karan, she leaves the marriage hall for Vicky. Shocked Karan commits for suicide. She realises her mistake, but there onwards the real mystery starts.

Akshay Khanna gave excellent performance. We never this is Urvashi Sharma’s first movie. Lara Dutta appeared in a character which not having proper identity.

Race

Abbas-Mustan director duo are experts in copying Hollywood super hits to Bollywood. They gave many super hits like this. They adopts only the main story theme and screenplay and changes entire story and gives a stylish look to it. Mostly it looks like a different movie compared with the original.

A Song From Race

The 2008 block buster hit Race was also a copy of the Hollywood flick Goodbye Lover. Saif Ali Khan, Bipasha Basu, Katrina Kaif and Akshay Khanna played the lead roles in this movie. This movie was shot in South Africa and Dubai. Race did a very nice job in Tollywood and Kollywood also.

Anil Kapoor, Sameera Reddy, Johnny Lever and Dalip Tahil also featured in important roles. Abbas-Mastan showed Shah Rukh in a negative character for Baazigar and Priyanka Chopra as a villain in Aitraaz. This time it was Akshay Khanna and  Katrina Kaif‘s  turn for Race.

36 china town

36 China Town is a crime thriller. Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor starred in this film. This movie was inspired by a Hollywood flick Once Upon A Crime. Sean Young, John Candy and James Belushi were the lead cast in that movie. In 36 China Town Isha Koppikar played key role.

This movie is about a casino owner Sonia Chang (Isha Koppikar) in Goa. She lives with her son. One day she finds her son is missing. She gives a paper ad for her son and also announces 25000 rupees reward. Priya (Kareena Kapoor) and Raj (Shahid Kapoor) meet Sonia’s son.

When they come to the casino to meet Sonia they find her dead body. These two become first suspects for the murder. How Raj and Priya proved their innocence is the remaining.

Akshay Khanna has played a police inspector role. Paresh Rawal and Payal Rohatgi are other lead cast. Upen Patel made his debut with this movie . Priyanka Chopra and Tanushree Dutta starred in guest roles. Shahid Kapoor was very good in his character but Kareena failed to impress. She was also one reason for this movie’s failure.

Ittefaq

Ittefaq was a Bollywood block buster in 1969. It was remake for Hollywood movie called Signpost to Murder. Yash Chopra has directed this movie. Rajesh Khanna appeared in lead role as talented painter.

Dilip Roy (Rajesh Khanna) is a talented painter. He spends most of his time in painting and selling them. His wife Sushma (Alka) is not happy with this. She asks him to spend more time with her. One day while he is painting seriously she asks him to come with her to a party. He rejects and continues in his work.
Sushma grabs the brush and throws the paintings. In the quick anger Dilip beats and kills her.

Police men arrests him and produced in the court. According to the court order police men sends him to hospital. He escapes from there and hides in a woman called Rekha (Nanda)’s house. The thing which he don’t know is Rekha’s husband is already murdered before he arriving.

Who killed him and how Dilip escaped from the police is the remaining story. Bindu and Madan Puri were appeared in other lead roles.

Chocolate: Deep Dark Secrets

Chocolate: Deep Dark Secrets was a Bollywood movie in 2005. The entire movie was shot in London. It was remake for Hollywood movie The Usual Suspects. This movie has very huge star cast like Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Sunil Shetty and Emraan Hashmi.

After the WTC towers blasts in New York, all the other countries who supports to America concentrates on their own security and suspects every small incident. On one Christmas evening, five suspect-able incidents takes place in London including huge amount of money robbery. London police men arrests innocent Indian couple Pipi (Irfaan Khan) and Simi (Tanushree Dutta).

They interrogates them and marks them as Al Qaeda members. Crime reporter Mansoon Iyer (Sushma Reddy) and her boy friends advocate Krishan ( Anil Kapoor) starts investigating this case to prove this people are innocent. What happen to Krishan and Mansoon in the investigation, what are the truths they found is the suspense in the movie.

Movie was marked as disaster. Mumaith Khan and Emma Button gave special appearances in this movie.

Right Ya Wrong

Right Ya Wrong is the upcoming crime thriller. Sunny Deol and Irrfan Khan were played the lead roles in this movie. Neeraj Phatak who was writer for Sunny Deol ‘s last movie Apne has directed this movie.

Story about a murder case investigation. Two police men Ajay (Sunny Deol) and Rane (Irffan Khan) are investigating that case. The victim is none other than, Ajay’s wife Anishta (Isha Koppikar). Rane suspects Ajay only.

But Rane’s sister Radhika (Konkana Sen Sharma) beleives Ajay. Who is the real killer of Anishta is the suspense. This movie is going to hit the theaters on March 12th.

Prince

Vivek Oberi who has started his career with a Block Buster hit Company has failed to continue with the same pace. Later he has delivered many flops and lost his old craze. In recent past he hasn’t acted in any hit movie. On the other hand he hasn’t got a movie as solo hero also.

His last release Kurbaan was also utterly failed. At the time of that movie release hype was towards Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan only. Audience treated him as character artist only. Now here he got a golden chance to return back to his old fame.

He has acted in movie called Prince recently. Its a movie to him as solo hero after long gap. This is a crime thriller revolves around a person called Prince. He looses his memory and comes to know about his name as prince and his girl friend name as Maya. But he don’t know who is Maya. On the other hand many people are behind him. Who are they what is the mystery behind him is the suspense.

This movie is going to release on March 26th 2010.
